Everlane has improved nearly every closet basic since launching in 2011—from unisex chunky sneakers to plush puffer jackets—but activewear was one space where the direct-to-consumer brand was noticeably missing. Well, not anymore.
The popular retailer announced today that it’s upgrading workout wardrobes everywhere with the launch of its . Like most of Everlane’s modernized basics, the high-rise bottoms are made with a premium fabric sourced from a renowned Italian mill and are priced below market value. In other words, the technical leggings will be comparable to high-quality pairs from pricier brands like Lululemon and Beyond Yoga, but cost just $58. While most leggings are only good for wearing to brunch or to bootcamp, Everlane created a style that’s optimized for both. You can still expect lightweight compression and sweat-wicking properties in every pair, but you won’t find extra details like pockets or superfluous seams. The celeb-adored brand purposefully kept the design minimalist to maximize versatility—and it pays off.
Despite their streamlined look, these leggings are the furthest thing from boring. They come in bold colors—including ink gray, brandy rose, moss green, and black—and set themselves apart with a handful of eco-friendly features. Not only are they dyed at a Bluesign®-certified facility (meaning they faced the world’s strictest chemical safety requirements for textiles), but they’re also made with 58 percent recycled nylon.
