Tristan Thompson is ready to put his short-lived Encino mansion back on the market. The NBA star, who purchased the 9,684-square-foot modern farmhouse for $6.5 million less than a year ago (following his very public split from Khloé Kardashian in early 2019) is listing the home for $8.5 million. The upgraded price tag likely reflects the many interior customizations he made over the past few months.

The exterior of the property remains largely unchanged: Situated on a 0.43-acre flat lot, the seven-bedroom, seven-and-a-half bathroom main house features white wood siding and a slate gray roof, with a three-car garage and a motor court. A double-height foyer with checkerboard marble floors welcomes visitors and leads to a formal living room with a minimalist, black-and-white vibe that was redone by designer Ryan Saghian during Thompson’s ownership. The formal dining room, also reimagined by Saghian, features a waterfall chandelier light fixture and eye-catching gold cabinetry.

In the kitchen are two black marble-topped islands, white subway tile backsplash, and a unique gold-accented vent over the stainless steel stove. In the family room, there’s a modern marble fireplace flanked by built-in bookshelves, with glass pocket doors that slide open to reveal a sun-dappled backyard. Upstairs, the master suite was largely left untouched save for the addition of some sand-colored custom wallpaper. One of Thompson’s biggest upgrades to the house was its home theater, which he outfitted with textured gray wallpaper and a massive velvet couch for the ultimate family movie nights.

Outdoors, the farmhouse offers a number of choice amenities, including an outdoor kitchen with bar seating, a fire pit, a marble-bordered pool and spa, and a 1,580-square-foot guesthouse with two bedrooms, one bathroom, and its own kitchen.
