Take a look at an updated five-bedroom home in the Westlake neighborhood of Vaquero – The Dallas Morning News

Situated in the exclusive Vaquero neighborhood in Westlake, this 2004 build was recently updated to suit modern tastes that complement the Tudor-style design. Listing agent Chad Schulin said the home feels like a “warm, boutique hotel” on the inside.

The home is 5,967 square feet with five bedrooms, five bathrooms and one half-bathroom. The primary suite and a guest suite sit on the first floor, which Schulin said would make the home well-suited to empty-nesters or a family. It’s listed for $2,595,000 and sits on a little more than a half-acre.

The home was updated cosmetically and mechanically this year.

“It’s very hard to find an updated home, a recently renovated home under $3 million in Vaquero,” Schulin said.

The home’s entrance is through a courtyard that centers around a fountain and has a covered patio that overlooks the water feature. Through the front door, there’s a bedroom with an en suite bathroom on one side and access to the main living spaces on the other.

An office sits on the first floor, with built-in bookshelves and warm tones. Schulin describes it as “handsomely appointed”.

Down a hallway, the primary suite has a private feel but with access to the outside of the home. The bedroom has large windows, vaulted ceilings and beam accents with a minimalist design. The primary bathroom has two walk-in closets, a bathroom with dual vanities, a bathtub and a separate shower.

There’s an open floor plan between the dining and living rooms, which look onto the yard through tall windows. A wet bar sits nearby.

On the opposite side of the living and dining rooms, the kitchen, breakfast room and hearth room have an open concept and are full of natural light. The kitchen features a stone accent wall, built-in cabinets, and more shelving and storage through the breakfast and hearth rooms. All have access to the outdoor areas of the home, and there’s a fireplace in the breakfast room.

There’s a wine storage room on the first level, accessible from the kitchen, living and dining rooms.

A living room area sits at the top of the stairs, with built-in bookshelves and windows that overlook the property. Three more bedrooms sit on the second floor, each with en suite bathrooms.

Outside, there are multiple seating areas and a pool off to one side of the home. There’s also a three-car garage.

2109 Falcon Pass is listed for $2,595,000 by Chad Schulin of Compass. For a closer look at the inside, there’s a virtual tour on the property’s webpage.
