Mrs Hinch has made a name for herself as a cleaning queen

1. Laundry detergent (brings doors up a treat)

According to Mrs Hinch, “this is just a very quick hack to wipe away the marks not the actual paint itself.”

Just use one cup of your favourite fabric conditioner and pour it into a bowl of water to make a diluted cleaning solution.

Using a scourer-type sponge, dip it in the solution and wipe the door stains in a circular motion.

It will leave the paint untouched (and make your door smell nice too).

Using fabric conditioner is a surprising way to clean doors

2). Unblock your sink (and remove any unwanted smells!)

Remove everything from the sink and using one cup of soda crystals and one cup of white vinegar, pour both down the drain (if you listen closely you can hear the soda start to bubble).

You can leave the mixture to do its thing for up to 30 minutes. When you’re finished just put the kettle on and rinse the sinkhole with boiling water. Then you can use your sink as normal!

There’s nothing worse than a smelly sink!

3). Get rid of pesky grease stains on your hob

Use a scouring pad to apply a “generous amount” of cleaning paste on the scouring side of the cleaning pad.

The grittiness of the paste should help lift even the most stubborn grease stains.

Cleaning paste can be used for lots of applications but it works really well for grease stains

4. Stains on your mattress? Mrs Hinch won’t ask any questions

If you have young children who are still “accident” prone then look no further.

Remove the bedding and using bicarbonate powder, generously sprinkle onto the stained areas of the mattress and rub in with a latex glove.

Leave the bicarbonate powder on the offending areas for up to one hour.

Then, like magic, use a hoover to suck the stains out!

Mattress stains are rather unsightly
