The iconic house from The Simpsons has been reimagined by interior designers and updated with all of 2019’s must-have trends, transforming it into a minimalist, Insta-worthy home…
The famous family home of Homer and Marge Simpson, 742 Evergreen Terrace, first graced our TV screens back in 1989. From their iconic avocado-hued and lilac bathroom, to the bright pink walls of the master bedroom, the decor of their property is instantly recognisable.
But now it has been given an impressive update. Interior designer Pat McNulty has teamed up with to give the animated Simpson home a modern makeover — and the final results are incredibly stylish.
Much of the home’s original vibrant colour has been stripped away. The kitchen has been given a metallic makeover, complete with smart tech equipment perfect for the modern home. Bart, Lisa and Maggie’s bedrooms have also been transformed into smart spaces with little colour. Expect bold geometric prints, potted plants, grey walls, Ikea-like furniture and interesting shapes.
The bathroom looks much more Scandi than it did before. A large white freestanding bath replaces the purple built-in one, while the mint green sink has been swapped for a marble white option.
