Not content with her recent launch of the £5,000 Goop cruise, Gwyneth Paltrow has added another unique product to her online store.
This one might be slightly more niche than a cruise.
The “This smells like my vagina” candle is available for £57 – and has already sold out.
What started out as a joke between perfumer, Douglas Little and Gwyneth Paltrow turned into a best-selling candle.

“The two were working on a fragrance, and she blurted out, “Uhhh..this smells like a vagina” — but evolved into a funny, gorgeous, sexy, and beautifully unexpected scent. (That turned out to be perfect as a candle),” the website description explains.
According to the ingredients, Gwyneth’s vulva candle smells like “geranium, citrusy bergamot, and cedar absolutes juxtaposed with Damask rose and ambrette seed”. How, erm, specific.
It might not be everybody’s cup of tea, but the candle is proving to be very popular. It’s currently sold out but will be restocked shortly.
Buy it: This Smells Like My Vagina candle | £57 from Goop
As with all of Gwyneth Paltrow’s products, we all feel this uncharacteristic need to get one and it turns out we’re not alone.
On This Morning Holly Willoughby admitted that she’d be partial to trying out the candle.
“Is it wrong that I want to buy one?” She asked.
Whether it’s curiosity or a love of bizarre candles, this Goop original now has a waitlist. You can now put your name on the list to be notified when it comes back in stock.

The candle is said to “put us in mind of fantasy, seduction, and a sophisticated warmth”.
If you’re more interested in the aesthetics of the jar than the actual smell of the candle, it’s got a very pleasing-on-the-eye minimalist packaging.
Goop also has plenty more candles available – all packaged in the same way – that don’t smell like Gwyneth Paltrow’s vagina.

The lifestyle platform, Goop, has faced criticism in the past for its “leanest liveable weight” advice and has recently announced a Netflix series called The Goop Lab.
Unperturbed by the criticism, she announced a rather pricey 11-day Goop cruise last week.
The cruise, which Paltrow announced on her Instagram account, is in collaboration with Celebrity Cruises.
It’ll take guests on a trip around Spain, France and the Italian Riviera.
“We’ve had massive success within goop Health, our wellness summit that translates Goop’s content into a tangible, high-touch experience. This partnership with Celebrity Cruises allows us to bring Goop to new audiences and to meet readers where they are.
“Goop’s brand DNA is based in curiosity, and curiosity is an essential component of travel,” she said when talking about the new cruise.
