POLOKWNE – His brainchild, Reign Fit, is an outdoor body weight training programme to maximise personal heath and fitness.
“We include stretching, running and body weight training by using minimalist equipment in an outdoor setting to create a wholesome product which best suits the clients’ needs,” he said.
He has been running fitness sessions for eight months now and has collaborated with Mgiba Consulting to help him deliver a better product.
Even though the business is mobile, he meets the majority of his clients at the Peter Mokaba stadium for a work-out of just over 45 minutes.
He took an interest in fitness back in high school because he was not happy with his build, he said.
“I wanted to feel good about myself and my confidence level was really low, so I was looking for a way to enhance myself,” he said.
That is when he started working out with friends and even though the main goal was to feel better, as he became fit, he realised that his newfound hobby could generate him money.
Reign is also a commercial model for Boss Models in Johannesburg.
Reign describes himself as somebody who has taken the decision to put fitness first and he believes the principles of fitness can be applied in other areas of life.
Fitness requires discipline, dedication and knowledge which are all components of a successful transformation, he says.
“My sessions are challenging, I won’t lie to you. But I can guarantee you better health and a better mindset. Working outdoors is also refreshing so that is another thing that sets us apart,” he said.
He also added that people looking into fitness should not look for overnight miracle transformations.
“The reason I created Reign Fitness is because I saw many people in the gym being stagnant, lacking inspiration and not achieving their body goals. That is why I brought something different to the table in terms of body transformations, plus I am a walking resumé and prove that I can push my clients to achieve the ideal body that my clients are looking for,” he said.
