Strictly Come Dancing winner Stacey Dooley appeared to be taking the time to settle into her new home after she admitted she was sleeping on the floor.

Much like us, perhaps Stacey really fails at the whole Ikea assembly and is patiently waiting for a mate to turn up, Allen key in hand.

The documentarian and journalist, 32, gave fans a glimpse inside her swanky new digs, weeks after she moved out of the Brighton flat she shared with ex Sam Tucknott following their split in March.

Now loved up with Strictly pro partner Kevin Clifton, 36, it appeared Stacey was keen to start afresh and that included some new furniture.

In the meantime, though, she’s calling a mattress on the floor her bed having admitted she’s well and truly ‘Marie Kondo’d’ her house.

You know, the art of throwing anything out that doesn’t spark joy? Well, we suppose Stacey’s bed fell into the chuck pile.

Taking to Instagram, she shared a shot of the bedroom – stylish with its light-filled windows and stained wooden floors.

With room to move around, all that could be seen was a mattress and white quilt set.

She wrote on her Instagram Stories: ‘Watches Marie Kondo once…

‘I mean, aside from this room. Clearly finished…’

In another Sepia-toned shot she showed off the living area, which boasted a fire-place-esque nook filled with flowers.

More natural blooms took over a vase on a coffee table, as several candles gave the place a real hit of hygge.

The kitchen was just as minimalist, as an Apple laptop sat on a white counter, with a collection of blooms to make it feel like home.

A glass filled with gold cutlery sat on the edge of the sink as another candle burned.

She appeared to tote two matching artworks that were taken from her place down South, with the minimalist black and white scrawlings on display in the new abode.

It seems the fresh couple of Stacey and Kevin are going from strength to strength, with engagement rumours abound after the Glow Up presenter was seen with a gold ring on her wedding finger recently.

While it could totally just be an, er, gold ring on her wedding finger, it was claimed Stacey had been living with her dancer beau not long after her March split with boyfriend-of-five-years Sam.

Maybe Kevin can help get that bedframe together?
