Welcome to Hook’d, Yahoo’s new shopping show! Every week, we share the most exclusive steals and deals in fashion, tech, home, and more. Our hosts this week: Yahoo’s TV style correspondent, Chassie Post, on-air personality and Youtuber Kennedy Johnson and TV host and beauty expert Sandra Vergara.

With Thanksgiving around the corner, the ladies go deep on the subject of travel—studies show nearly 51 million people hit the (long) road in anticipation of Turkey Day. We all know travel can be super-stressful—especially when everyone else is doing it! But our Hook’d hosts are all about making life easier, so they share their best strategies and products for smooth take-offs and easy landings.

The classic white sneakers that are made for sprints to the gate

No matter how much time you leave yourself, there always seems to be a moment when you’re dashing through the airport, either to or from security. Foot comfort is key. But you don’t have to sacrifice style.

Kennedy has the kicks you need: “Superga Classic Sneakers,” she smiles, flashing her pure white footwear. “I see girls walking around New York in these all the time. There’s even a version that has a little platform to it, and I love the look.”

Kennedy feels strongly that priority Number One when traveling is comfort. She loves these shoes because they feel great and they’re light.

Sandra, who is all about fitness, asks if these cuties are fit for running.

The answer? A resounding yes!

One reviewer, reports Kennedy, wrote that she’s been wearing the Superga Classics since 1993. You know a sneaker that inspires that kind of long-term commitment is something special.

A travel pillow that doesn’t look like a travel pillow

No other travel pillow will do for Sandra: She’s all about the Trtl. (Photo: Yahoo Lifestyle)

Most travel pillows look like something straight out of the medical equipment aisle at the drugstore—they are seriously bulky and big. And lugging one through the airport while your hands are full is almost like having another bag to deal with.

Of course Sandra, our beauty maven, has a cute minimalist travel pillow in a poppy color that almost looks like a scarf. She never travels without it. It’s called the Trtl (say it like the shell-bearing animal), and it’s one of those nifty products you can’t believe you’ve lived without .

“What makes this pillow so interesting is the design,” Sandra explains. Weighing in at less than half a pound, “it’s easy to travel with. You can wear it around your neck, you don’t even have to carry it.” Not only does it provide brilliant support, but, says Sandra, “it’s also extremely comfortable.”

The best part, of course, is that it comes in multiple colors—from neutrals like gray and black to bright shades of red or aqua.

This supersize $15 wallet holds (and protects) more than 18 cards

Chassie’s must-have travel item is the Travelambo wallet—and it’s so much more than a place to stash cards and cash.

The Travelambo has 18 card slots and two zippered pockets—for boarding passes and other important papers. It’s made of vegan leather and comes in more than 24 different colors. You can choose a color that’s sure to stand out among your things as you pack and as you work your way through the airport.

Says Chassie, “It’s big enough that I can find it in this giant tote bag that I’m lugging around everywhere.” We hear ya.

But Chassie particularly loves the security aspect. “My favorite thing that it’s kind of like a spy wallet,” she says. “It’s RFID-protected, so people can’t scan your credit cards through it. There’s a protective layer in there.”

What a relief, when you’re hustling from one terminal to the next and jogging (in your Superga Classics) to the gate.

Thanks, ladies of Hook’d. And Bon Voyage!
