Mixing an Airstream trailer and A-frame cabin, it features a sloping roof and triangular windows. The sleeping space is tucked beneath the slanted ceiling, while the living space and kitchen open straight onto the outdoors. A fold-down table and window seat mean owners can make the most of the views, wherever they decide to park up.
The Melbourne-based practice has lined the interiors of the cabin with wood and clad the exterior in black rubber – which the practice says is to help blend with its surroundings. According to them, the structure is also more efficient, requiring less material than other portal framed buildings.
