[𝗚𝗬𝗠 𝗢𝗪𝗡𝗘𝗥𝗦 𝗪𝗘 𝗛𝗔𝗩𝗘 𝗔 𝗠𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗧𝗔𝗜𝗡 𝗧𝗢 𝗖𝗟𝗜𝗠𝗕] I am going to very briefly go outside of our regularly scheduled programming, so I apologize in advance. I often get asked often about the business, and typically it’s a gym owner just looking for answers. Usually, I am reluctant. Why? Not because I don’t want to help or be a guide. I’m generally reluctant for two reasons one I’m still trying to figure this thing out for myself and two most importantly folks are seeking out answers when they should be trying to seek out their own principles and allow those to guide them. But today I’m going to give some advice. Gym owners, we must remain resilient. We must stay adaptable to the shifting landscape. The circumstances are real, and our community needs us, and guess what — we need our community. Be sensitive enough to trust your process (now more than ever). Truly understand the consequences of actions, reactions and even inactions and do not end up being trapped by your tactics (𝘸𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘦 𝘐 𝘴𝘺𝘮𝘱𝘢𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘻𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘴𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘥𝘰𝘯’𝘵 𝘣𝘦 𝘑𝘢𝘤𝘰𝘣 𝘓𝘦𝘸𝘪𝘴, 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘰𝘸𝘯𝘦𝘳 𝘰𝘧 𝘎𝘺𝘮 𝘏𝘋) Our businesses have been dismantled, and whether you want to accept it or not, the fitness industry is going to look a lot different for the foreseeable future if not 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿. It’s adapt or die more than ever. 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗽 𝘀𝗲𝗲𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 and trust yourself 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗱 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗱. The marketing gurus can’t help you. In his book Rules for Radicals, Saul Alinsky begins by explaining his philosophy and how it’s anchored in optimism, and in this moment right now, our philosophies should be too. 𝗟𝗘𝗧𝗦 𝗚𝗘𝗧 𝗜𝗧

“These guys are simply amazing. I just had my first day, and they made me feel right at home. Checked out other fitness centers in the area which were, let’s just say much less hospitable. It’s bread and butter powerlifting gear with a great atmosphere, and I’m very grateful to have found it. Thanks, guys!” –Sam Wood
